Conference on nanofabrication 23-24 November at the PCB

On 23 and 24 November the Antoni Caparrós Auditoriuml will host a conference on nanofabrication. This event forms part of the collaboration agreement "Aragon-Catalonia Nanotechnology" , signed by the two autonomous communities for the promotion and coordination of joint actions in R+D+I in nanoscience.

The scientific programme will begin with conferences by Childerick Severac (LAAS-Tolouse, France) and Ulf Södervall (Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden). It will also include presentations by several experts, such as Elena Martínez (PCB), José María de Teresa (ICMA, CSIC-University of Zaragoza) and Francesc Pérez Murano (CNM-CSIC); and poster sessions and oral presentations and a round table under the title “Current initiatives in Nanoscience/Nanofabrication at the regional, national and European level”. In addition, the director general of Research in Aragon, Jesús Santamaría, will present the “Aragon-Catalonia” initiative, which seeks to link and strengthen present synergies in the field of nanotechnology between the two regions.

The conference is organized by the Parc Científic de Barcelona (PCB, Barcelona Science Park), the Bioengineering Institute of Catalonia (IBEC), the National Centre of Microelectronics (CNM-CSIC), the Catalan Institute of Nanotechnology (ICN), the University Institute for Nanoscience Research of Aragon (INA) and the Aragon Institute of Material Science (ICMA).
