Arian International strengthens its role in the European innovation ecosystem as a partner in the EIC Ecosystem Partnership Programme

Arian International Projects (AIP), with over 15 years of experience in strategic consulting and innovation, has been invited to join the EIC Ecosystem Partnership Programme, consolidating its role as a key partner in the European innovation ecosystem. Based in the Barcelona Science Park, the company has advised over 300 SMEs and start-ups in the biotech, medtech, and deep-tech sectors.

The EIC Ecosystem Partnership Programme is an initiative of the European Innovation Council (EIC) designed to create a collaborative network among innovative start-ups, investors, large corporations, and research institutions. With a budget of €10.1 billion for the 2021–2027 period, the EIC facilitates companies’ access to essential strategic resources such as mentors, investors, and networking opportunities, accelerating the development and commercialization of their technologies on a global scale. This program is based on the Triple Helix model, connecting research, industry, and government to promote innovation and positive impact in economic and social sectors.

By joining the EIC Ecosystem Partnership Programme, Arian International reinforced its role as a strategic partner in European innovation, offering services in strategic consulting, innovation, and internationalization through the EIC Service Catalogue, available to the beneficiaries of the EIC Accelerator, Pathfinder, and Transition programs.

In 2024, Arian International achieved significant progress in developing market intelligence algorithms and launched its Market Intelligence and Internationalization services. These new tools enable the company to provide solid support to start-ups and SMEs in their expansion and strategic planning processes, facilitating a more efficient and effective access to global markets.

Arian International has also reinforced its commitment to innovation and business leadership through active participation in  EIC T2M and EIC Women Leadership programmes. Furthermore, its close collaboration with organizations promoting internationalization and innovation, such as ICEX, ACCIÓ, and ADR, continues to drive the growth of technology companies.

“The Barcelona Science Park, as a key hub for European innovation in the health sector, stands out for its high number of companies funded by EIC programs. We hope that more organizations join this initiative led by the European Commission and EISMEA through the EIC Community”, says María José Borreguero, CEO of Arian International.
