Video report of the latest edition of the Coffee Connection networking meeting

Last Wednesday, March 12th, the first edition of Coffee Connection 2025 was held, the Barcelona Science Park’s biannual networking event to promote collaboration and the exchange of experiences and knowledge within its community. The institution’s director, Maria Terrades, reviewed recent achievements and presented the main strategic lines to be implemented in the short term.

Among the notable developments, information was provided on the adaptation of the CUB building, which now has 2,700 m² to accommodate new scientific and business initiatives. The completion of the BCN Health Booster acceleration program, which has promoted eleven biomedical startups in recent months, was also announced. Another significant milestone was the institutional visit by the President of the Generalitat (Catalan Government) to inaugurate the new state-of-the-art electron microscope installed at the CCiTUB.

In the area of ​​sustainability and service improvement, photovoltaic panels have been installed on two of the Park’s buildings. In addition, various green initiatives and an updated agenda of activities were unveiled to strengthen community cohesion.

Finally, four organizations located in the Science Park had the opportunity to present their most innovative projects. Aptadel Therapeutics, Conecta Therapeutics, Fundación DTI, and SpliceBio demonstrated the high level of activity and research that characterizes the PCB ecosystem.
