The UB hosts an exhibition on the Torribera Food Campus project, in which the PCB is participating

Starting today and up until February 27, the Historic Building of the University of Barcelona (UB) will host the exhibition "Institutions Transform Torribera" to show the works that are being carried out to develop the future Torribera Food Campus, located in Santa Coloma de Gramanet, and to offer information about this project. Several teaching and specialised research centers, including the Food and Nutrition Research Center (INSA-UB), an organization associated with the Barcelona Science Park (PCB), will be established in this campus. Research and technology transfer services, with the Area of Food Sciences of the PCB, and a group of companies linked with food and nutrition will also set up offices on the premises.

Coinciding with this event, next Tuesday February 23 an informative session will be held in the Great Hall of the Food Science and Technology and Human Nutrition and Dietetics departments.

One year ago, the representatives of the three institutions that are promoting the project, the rector of the UB, Dídac Ramírez, the president of the Barcelona City Council, Antoni Fogué, and the first deputy mayor of Santa Coloma de Gramanet, Joan Carles Mas, inaugurated this exhibition, which was initially set up in the Masia building of the Torribera district in Santa Coloma de Gramanet.
