In the inspection of the Transformer Stations that was carried out at the end of last year, a malfunction was detected in the switching of the company network to the generator set in two installations:

• Cluster Oficines and Cluster II basement floor
• Cluster II from the ground floor to the roof.

After carrying out works to solve the detected problems, tests must be carried out to verify correct operation.

On the 24th and 27th of February, the tests of the switching of the generator sets will be carried out. For this reason, it will be necessary to disconnect the general electrical network and work with the generator sets for a while, and then reconnect the general electrical network.

During this period in which the generators sets will be working, the normal power lines (FN) will remain without supply, the preferential power lines (FP) will have occasional cuts and the UPS power lines (FS) will work normally.

While this action is being carried out, you may hear occasional engine noises or smells outside the building, as a result of the units being put into operation. For this reason, we recommend that you keep the windows of your offices and laboratories closed during the work.

We ask that you only have connected the essential equipment.

Works schedule:

• February 24 at 6 a.m.: Cluster Oficines whole building and Cluster II Basement Floor (except Estabulari 2). Estimated maximum duration 2 hours.
• February 27 at 6 a.m.: Cluster II from the Ground Floor to the roof. Estimated maximum duration 2 hours.
