Setting up two-factor authentication for the PCB’s online services

As we announced a few days ago, we are currently implementing a two-factor authentication method for accessing the PCB’s online services. This new validation system will be implemented progressively, with the VPN service coming into effect on Tuesday 13 December.

In the next few days, you will receive a notification containing your own personalised information for setting up the two-step authentication with your username. Once you receive this information, you can set up the two-factor validation by following these instructions, also provided on the Intranet, by going to: General Services – IT Services – Instructions to set up two-factor authentication.

If you do not receive the communication containing your personalised information next week (4-10 December), or if you have any doubts or problems regarding the setup or functioning of the two-factor authentication method, please contact Information Systems and Telecommunications at sic@pcb.ub.es.

By Tuesday 13 December you will need to have set up the second authentication factor in order to use the PCB’s VPN service.
