Celebrating the PCB urban garden’s first anniversary!

It’s been a year since the first vegetables were planted in the garden of the Hèlix building. We want to celebrate the first year of the project by holding a lunch open to current volunteers and anyone else who wants to participate. We’ll also use this as an opportunity to hang some supports to help small garden birds build nests along with some feeders to help them fatten up.

The city needs islands of biodiversity, where plants can help capture CO2 and purify the air and birds and insects can spread seeds and close life cycles.

Not only that, the garden is another example of a community project that allows people to come together to exchange knowledge and address concerns that go beyond the science of the laboratories.

So come celebrate with us next Wednesday 5 March at 1 p.m. on the Hèlix building patio. See you there!
