Disconnection of the general electrical network of PCB buildings

On the 22nd, 23rd, 24th and 25th of November, the annual regulatory maintenance of the Transforming Stations which supply the service to the PCB buildings will be carried out. For this reason, it will be necessary to stop the transformers, disconnect them from the general electrical network and use the engine generators while the works are being done.

During this period when we will work using an engine-generator, the normal power supply (NPS) lines will not have an electrical supply, the preferred power supply lines (PPS) will undergo occasional power cuts, and the UPS lines (SPS) will work normally.

While performing these works you may occasionally hear engine noises or perceive smells outside the building, as a result of the generators being used. For this reason, we recommend that you keep the office and laboratory windows closed while the works are being carried out.

We ask that you only keep the computers which are essential to your work connected.
