The PCB launches an anti-passback system for turnstile access

From 29 November we will activate a new security measure regarding access to the PCB facilities: the anti-passback system. After that date, a card will be necessary to both enter and exit through the turnstiles.

How does it work?

The system ensures that you will only be able to enter or exit through the turnstiles if you have correctly registered a valid access in the opposite direction. In other words, you will only be able to exit if you entered correctly before, and you will only be able to enter if you have previously checked out or if it is your first entry of the day.

This measure aims to reinforce security at the PCB, validating that each card is used properly and preventing unauthorised access. The same card may not be used for more than one access.

If you do not follow this procedure correctly, the turnstile will not open when you present your card, and you will need to contact reception or security staff on 934 037 222 for assistance.

With this new feature, we contribute to maintaining a safer environment for everyone at the PCB.
