IBEC expands its facilities at the PCB

In accordance with its strategic plan, the Bioengineering Institute of Catalonia (IBEC) has completed the construction of the new facilities for four of its fifteen research groups. Over 50 researchers belonging to the groups of Biomechanics and Mechanobiology, Artificial Sense of Smell, Processing and Interpretation of Biomedical Signals, and Robotics, will occupy approximately 700 m2 on floors 8, 9 and 10 of Tower I of the Barcelona Science Park (PCB). The proximity of these new facilities to other existing ones occupied by the IBEC at the PCB will facilitate interdisciplinary exchange, as well as cohesion and relationships amongst the Institute's entire community.
