Three entities located in the Barcelona Science Park (PCB) –Bosch i Gimpera Foundation (FBG), Biocat and CataloniaBio– are organizing jointly the Association of Biotechnologists of Catalonia and Association of Biotechnologists of Catalonia, the sixth edition of the course 'Keys to bioentrepreneurship', with support from Dr. Antoni Esteve Foundation. This course, that comprised of four sessions which will be held on 3,10,17 and 24 May, gives the participants first-hand access to the personal experience of the top bioentrepreneurs in the BioRegion of Catalonia, they are the extraordinary people who are rising innovative and international companies.

Becoming a bioentrepreneur is an increasingly frequent and interesting option. Successful companies, however, require a special mix of ingredients.

During the course, bioentrepreneurs from Catalonia will explain to participants their experience heading up innovative and international companies, as well as the successes, failures, problems and satisfactions of bioentrepreneuring.

This course is geared towards students and recent graduates in life sciences(biology, pharmacy, biotechnology, medicine, biochemistry, veterinary sciences and chemistry), masters students, PhD students and young researchers.

The program is comprised of four sessions which will be held on 3,10,17 and 24 May at the Auditorium Esteve of the Esther Koplowitz Center (KSC).

The sessions will be moderated by Jordi Naval, director of  FBG and will involve two PCB entrepreneurs: Teresa Tarragó, co-founder and CEO of Iproteos, and Marc Martinell, founder and director of Minoryx Therapeutics, among others.
