The Bosch i Gimpera Foundation organises the 3rd edition of Transfereix!.

The Bosch i Gimpera Foundation (FBG) organises the 3rd edition of Transfereix!. Its purpose is to explain researchers, professors and doctorate students how to protect research results and the services offered by the FBG Valorisation and Licensing Unit to allow their technology to the market. The journey will take place on October 10 in the Barcelona Scientific Park.

This meeting is about how to protect the research results and what to do to achieve that these results reach to the market. The roundtable will be formed by researchers and professors from the UB who will explain their experience in transferring their projects to the market.

The Bosch i Gimpera Foundation (FBG) is the University of Barcelona’s Centre for the Transfer of Knowledge, Technology and Innovation. It makes available scientific/technical capabilities, research results and know-how generated within Grupo UB (University of Barcelona Group) to companies, institutions and society in general. Its work ensures that UB’s most promising research results get to market through the creation of new technology-based companies and by the licensing of patents. It also promotes entrepreneurialism within the University environment and protects research results.

The mission of the Bosch I Gimpera Valorisation and Licensing Unit is to ensure identification, protection, assessment and commercialisation of the inventions produced by UB researchers and professors with the aim of transferring the benefits of these discoveries to society and at the same time achieving a good return for the University and its researchers. The Valorisation and Licensing Unit forms part of the ACC1Ó’s valorisation units.
